Promoting Volunteerism and Preventing Burnout
What would we do without volunteers? They are the lifeblood of community associations. Not only do volunteer board members accomplish the necessary work of the association, but they, along with committee members, establish values and priorities of the membership. The more effective, productive and dedicated volunteers are, the more successful the community is and the happier the members. The more positive their experience as a volunteer, the better chance they’ll continue to serve and the more secure the management contract. And the happier the community members, the less stress on the manager and the less chance of burnout.
Join nationally-recognized educator, trainer, speaker, advocate and author Margey Meyer, CMCA, PCAM to learn how to:
¨ Establish an environment that encourages volunteerism
¨ Be a believer in customer service and its impact on positive, lasting relationships
¨ Banish burnout and love your job
