Description

The virtual live M-360: Leadership Practices in Building Community course will broadcast on Thursday, February 2, 2023Friday, February 3, 2023, from 12 Noon to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time both days. You must attend both sessions and pass the final exam to receive credit for the course. This course fulfills all regular continuing education requirements through CAI and CAMICB. We recommend you take the course on a desktop or laptop computer for the best experience, and log-in 10-15 minutes before the start the course to ensure you are connected to the broadcast.

ACCESSING THE COURSE

To access the course, click on the "My CAI" link at the top right of the CAI homepage (https://www.caionline.org), then select "My Online Learning." If you are not already logged into CAI’s website, you will be prompted to sign in with your email address and CAI password. If you don't know your password, you can always change it (at https://cai.caionline.org/eweb/Dynamicpage.aspx?webcode=forgotpassword&eml_address=). Under the course title, click the “Launch” button to get started. You will need to choose whether to launch the course in a browser or an application. We recommend the application as it offers the best functionality.

COURSE EVALUATION AND EXAM
After you have completed this course, complete a short evaluation and one question verification. Completing both will prompt your program certificate. CAI uses the evaluation feedback to improve the content of our courses as well as enhance the learning experience.

This course shows you how to inspire the cooperation needed from board leaders and volunteers to achieve management goals. You’ll learn proven ways to motivate and guide community leaders and help board and committee members accomplish more at every meeting.

M-202 Association Communications, February 16th - 17th, 2023, 12-3 p.m. ET

This course offers communication strategies that will benefit both new and experienced managers and provide the skills to better understand owners and volunteers. You’ll learn the basics of good customer service and gain the tools to effectively handle complaints, write newsletters and reports and manage public relations.

M-204 Community Governance, February 23rd - 24th, 2023 - 2-3 p.m. ET

This course covers the legal basis of community rules, policies and procedures. You’ll gain a better understanding of board and management responsibilities and a better grasp of the community association as a legal entity. Learn how to advise and support your board and how to revise policies and procedures to comply with current laws and recommended management practices.
